'All THAT', AND, 'A Bag Of Chips'???

     Yesterday, while I was enjoying my 'after-donation' snack, at the 'Blood-Mobile', I was chatting with the gentleman in charge of driving the coach-bus, as he was, also, doling out the goodies. I had overheard him saying how, due to the little bit of a wait, some of the donors became a bit, 'miffed'. This prompted a discussion as to the nature of some, folks, and, their, evident lack of patience, in some situations, and, often, how some appear to possess an, overall, attitude-problem. He told me of his son, a pharmacist at a, local, CVS, where, in dealing with customers, store-policy is to refer to them by first name. This gentleman's son was 'berated' by a female customer, who, after being addressed by her birth-name, was so insulted as to wield insults back to him. She exclaimed , that, 'How dare he call her by her God-given name, as he didn't even know her, and, furthermore, he was NOT in her 'social-circle' nor, did he dwell within her social-status.' WOW, was all I could muster upon hearing this. Really? WOW!!! it is difficult for me to imagine ANYONE believing him or herself to be 'better than' or 'above' any, other, human-being, simply, based on his or her financial-situation. To believe in a 'caste-system', still, in this, modern-day world, is beyond my, personal, comprehension. Yet, I am not naive, and, I do, realize, that, this, manner of thinking, this, disposition, these, feelings, and, personal-position do, in fact, exist among some. Here's the thing, though, to The One, who matters most, none of this matters at all...we are ALL equal, in the eyes of God. Regardless our income-level, wealthy or impoverished, He loves us all the same; Those, who walk among us, feeling 'entitled' and, 'deserving', based on the fact, that, they have achieved a certain 'level of success', seemingly have forgotten this, or, perhaps, have never 'embraced' this, reality at all. This, as far as I'm concerned, is very, unfortunate for them; for, it expresses, greatly, the lack of, ANY, true-'spiritual-awareness' in these, 'wayward'-folk. But, heck...who am I to judge, right? As far as I can tell, people can only be who and what they're capable of being. If this includes, for some, wishing to believe themselves better than others, well...what can ya' do? Personally, I'd let them go about believing their, own, 'B.S.', because, I know, that, one day, they'll understand the 'TRUTH'. Just Sayin'...
