Back To School: Narragansett-South Kingstown 2022-23 School Calendars

NARRAGANSETT-SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Rhode Island, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Narragansett and South Kingstown public school districts.

The first day of school is Narragansett is Tuesday, Sept. 6. In South Kingstown, the first day is also Sept. 6.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two year-and-a-half point.

As of Tuesday, July 26, both school districts have no plans to require masks in school, regardless of vaccination status.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Tuesday, Sept. 6

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 in South Kingstown and Nov. 23-25 in Narragansett

Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan.2

February Vacation: Feb. 20-24

April Vacation: April 10-April 14 in Narragansett and April 7-April 17 in South Kingstown

Last Day: June 21 in South Kingstown and June 22 in Narragansett.
