Baking Pies for a Great Cause

Sometimes it's about giving from the heart....

The sweet smell of pumpkin filled the air as Southgansett Girl Scouts and adult leaders met at Chariho High School to make 87 pies to be distributed to various community support service agencies.

Homemade pumpkin and apple pies were given to The Welcome House, Galilee Fishermen’s Shelter, Westerly Warm House and Charlestown Food Pantry.

A special thanks goes to Linda Musch and her three young chefs-in-training for guiding us in our efforts at their culinary arts kitchen.
