For an establishment as omnipresent as Dunkin’ Donuts is in New England, it can be oddly inconsistent. Sometimes Dunkin’s hooks you up with a flawless cup of caffeinated bliss. Other times, you’re left choking down what might as well be lukewarm sugar water with brown food coloring mixed in. It all depends on the location!

Like most of Rhode Island, Narragansett and South Kingstown have more Dunkin’ outlets than it can shake a cheddar cheese bagel twist at. Which of the franchises can be trusted, and which should be avoided? Here’s some guidance courtesy of Yelp’s list of top coffee shops in Narragansett and South Kingstown:
