Bonnet Shores Beach Club Back Open To Swimming

Bacteria in the water have returned to safe levels, the Rhode Island Department of Health said.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Bonnet Shores Beach Club is once again safe for swimming, the Rhode Island Department of Health said Tuesday. Bacteria in the water have returned to safe levels.

The beach was closed to swimming Aug. 25 due to high bacteria levels in the water. The Kent County YMCA Lower Pond and Irons Homestead Beach in Chepachet remain closed at this time.
