Book Sale to benefit Library Building fund

Narragansett's Library is now accepting donations

The Friends of the Narragansett Library is accepting donations for the Annual Book Sale to be held Thursday through Saturday, June 7-9. Donations of books in good condition, audio books on CD, music CDs and DVDs can be brought to the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library, 35 Kingstown Rd., Narragansett, during the library's open hours. No encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines or VHS tapes can be accepted. Moldy and dusty books cannot be accepted. Please do not leave books outside the library.

The sale begins with a Preview Night for Friends of the Library, Thursday, June 7, from 5-8 p.m. New members are welcome and can join at the door for a small fee. The sale opens to the public Friday, June 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, June 9, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

All proceeds from this year's sale will benefit the Library Building Fund, a fund established by the Friends of the Library to help with costs of a new library building.
