Bristol Town Beach Reopened, Burlingame Closed To Swimming

One Rhode Island beach was reopened just as another was declared unsafe for swimming.

CHARLESTOWN, RI — Burlingame State Park Camping Area was closed to swimming on Sunday, while Bristol Town Beach was reopened. Several other Rhode Island beaches remain closed due to high bacteria levels.

Surfer's End at Sachuset Beach in Middletown and Dyer Woods Campground Beach are still closed at this time. Burlingame Picnic Area and the main pavilion at Sachuset Beach are still open to swimming.
