Narragansett Residents Community Meeting

All Narragansett Residents are invited to a Narragansett Community Meeting on Tuesday, April 28th at the Narragansett Community Center on Mumford Rd (behind the Elementary School). Due to capacity seating, there will be two meeting sessions: 4:30-5:30 pm and 6:30-7:30 pm. Seating will be reserved for the first 150 registrants for each session. So please register ASAP to reserve your seat. You will receive an email to let you know if your registration is confirmed for your preferred session time. This is an informational meeting for all residents to learn more about the recent zoning changes passed by the current Town Council (TC) and the impacts of these changes to our Town, including impacts to our sewer and water infrastructure. Proposed zoning changes and impacts will also be discussed. In addition, a representative from the coalition of RI towns, 11 towns of which have joined forces thus far, will speak about what other towns are doing to protect their zoning authority from recent State housing law mandates.
