Historic Hale House

Back by popular demand! This season, Hale House opens its doors on June 17 with an exhibit that debuted in 2025. “Marketing Matunuck” traces the rise of summer homes, hotels, and vacation culture in Matunuck through vintage postcards, maps, and memorabilia.

Open Hours: Wednesdays, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. from June 24 – September 2 or by appointment

Gates open at 5:00 p.m., giving you time to stroll the gardens, grab a refreshment, and settle in before the music begins.
The evening opens at 5:15 p.m.&nbsp;with local musician <a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/leephi65/" rel="nofollow noopener">Lee Philips,</a> followed by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/thewaterprojectri/" rel="nofollow noopener">The Water Project</a>&nbsp;taking the stage at 6:00 p.m.&nbsp;Known for their infectious blend of surf rock, reggae, funk, punk, blues, and disco, The Water Project delivers an upbeat performance that's guaranteed to get you moving and keep the summer vibes flowing.

Craft beer from Whalers Brewing Company, along with other refreshments, will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Professional sound is provided by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.thevirgilco-op.com/" rel="nofollow noopener">Virgil Co-Op </a>Production, ensuring an outstanding listening experience. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather with family and friends, and enjoy an evening of great local music in one of Rhode Island's most beautiful garden settings.

Music at the Museum is returning to South County Museum! Enjoy live music from Rhode to Bali and Bee and the Boys!The museum will be open to tour, so come visit our craft barns and Metz exhibition hall! Located at 115 Strathmore St in Narragansett.&nbsp;This is a picnic-style family event, so bring some food, chairs, and a picnic blanket. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. FATE's Annual Gala is an event like no other, bringing together Broadway performers, local celebrities, and the youth of Rhode Island for an extraordinary performance you won't want to miss! Spend an evening with Jodie Langel!&nbsp;Jodie is a Broadway actress, renowned teacher and coach, and author. Her Broadway and National Tour credits include Les Misérables (Cosette), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Narrator), CATS (Grizabella)—making her the youngest actor to play the role—and the pre-Broadway Martin Guerre (Bertrande).
FATE exists to expand access to visual, performance, and vocal arts education by providing affordable space, events, scholarships, and financial support for performances. FATE seeks to reduce the cost of youth arts training while connecting students with instruction and mentorship from experienced industry professionals.

FATE Gala with Special Broadway Guest: Jodie Langel

Join us for another exciting Kids at Kinney&nbsp;adventure as we explore the amazing world of carnivorous plants! Participants will discover why some plants have evolved to trap and digest insects, learn about the unique adaptations that help them survive in nutrient-poor environments, and meet some of the world's most fascinating plants up close.

From snap traps to sticky leaves and pitcher-shaped traps, kids will explore the different ways carnivorous plants capture their prey while learning about the habitats where they grow naturally. Through hands-on activities and close-up observation, participants will gain a new appreciation for these extraordinary plants and the science behind their incredible survival strategies.

Perfect for curious young scientists, nature lovers, and anyone fascinated by the strange and wonderful world of plants!

Rustic-chic private farm venue in scenic Stonington, CT 

Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
