WinterHawk Vineyards

Wakefield Books hosts Ann Hood In Conversation with Rosanne Annoni, to discuss Rosanne’s new book, Unfolding the Heart. Spanning decades of grief, motherhood, cancer, and healing, this memoir explores the messy beauty of a life lived with courageous self-inquiry. For spiritual seekers, healing professionals, or anyone navigating loss, midlife change, or a desire for inner truth, Unfolding the Heart is a cathartic, hopeful story of letting go, leaning in, and discovering that spiritual path isn’t somewhere far away—it’s right here, within. Rosanne Annoni was a successful psychotherapist for thirty-five years in the Bay Area before becoming an ordained teacher of the Diamond Approach in 2000. She has taught students and mentored teachers in the United States, the UK, and the EU. In 2024, she was awarded an Emerging Writer Fellowship from Aspen Words. Ann Hood is the author of more than a dozen books of memoir and fiction, including the best-selling novels The Book That Matters Most, The Red Thread, and The Knitting Circle. Winterhawk Vineyards is a beautiful, picturesque local winery tucked away in a wooded grove in West Kingston, Rhode Island. This is a ticketed event, and ticket price includes a glass of wine. https://annhoodrosanne-wb.eventbrite.com

Please join us on October 4 for a special 10:15 Morning Prayer service. Together with our furry friends, we will honor St. Francis of Assisi and his love for creation.
This short service of morning prayer will be filled with the familiar hymns and prayers rooted in our Anglican tradition as well as an opportunity for each pet to receive an individual blessing from Fr. Craig. This wonderful and boisterous service is a perfect opportunity to celebrate our furry friends, who provide us with unconditional love and companionship. We hope to see your pets (and their humans) there!

Deans Mill Farm

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
