Christopher Fascione Installed as KWAOR 2017 President

Christopher Fascione of RI Real Estate Services was installed as 2017 KWAOR President at the Association's Annual Meeting, Installation and Dinner. The event was held at Harbor Lights in Warwick on October 13th.

Chris has been a Kent Washington member since 1993 and has served the Association and its members in many capacities: as Vice President, President-Elect and on the Executive, Nominating, Finance, and Programs Committees.

2017 Officers and Directors also installed were Vice President Mark McHugh, Treasurer Karen Maw, Directors Marisa Almon, Mary Coutu, Rob Cressman, Linda Plouffe and Cely O'Brien, and new Directors Thomas Clarkin, Gregory Eccleston, Alyce Kleczek, Michael Mita and Bruce Thunberg. Outgoing Director Peter Izzi was recognized for his service to the Association.

Former KWAOR President and current NCBR President Stephen Antoni gave the invocation and served as Installing Officer.

Gregory Dantas presented the KWAOR 2016 REALTOR® of the Year Award to Pat Lenihan.

Mark McLaughlin presented the Affiliate of the Year Award to John Geisser of MartLaw Title and Brad Sudol of Pawtucket Credit Union. The award is given for outstanding dedication and service to KWAOR and its members.

2016 Volunteer of the Year certificates were given to Margy Thurber of Residential Mortgage Services and to Pat Milner of Rhode Island Housing for years of dedicated service to the KWAOR Golf Tournament Committee.

Association Executive Vice President Linda Arcouette presented a certificate for Life Membership to Pat Lenihan for 30 years of continuous membership in the local Association and service as Past President of the Association.

The following Emeritus members were recognized for their 40 years of membership in the National Association of REALTORS: Todd Brown, Sue Moore, Dana Phillips, Caroline Cressman and Mary "Empie" Davis.
