Several defendants went before the judge in Fourth Division District Court on Thursday.

The following South Kingstown Police cases were heard before Judge Mary E. McCaffrey in Fourth Division District Court on Thursday, March 8 at the , 4800 Tower Hill Road, South Kingstown:

Bertrand E. Gardiner, 57, of 235 Biscuit City Road, Charlestown, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence with a BAC greater than .15. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 29.

Lauren M. Nyblom, 22, of 77 Narragansett Ave., Narragansett, pleaded not guilty to simple assault. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on April 5.

Brian Williams, 25, of 72 Natsisky Farm Road, South Windsor, CT, pleaded not guilty to driving with a suspended license. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 29.

Joseph Peters, 42, of 160 Broad St., Providence, pleaded no contest to simple assault. He was sentenced to one year suspended sentence, one year probation and ordered to have no contact with the victim and to pay court costs.

Siena Henry, 22, of 423 Bridgetown Road, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, BAC greater than .15. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 29.

Janessa Redfern, 22, of 23 Towpath Drive, Wilmington, MA, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, BAC unknown. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 29.

Christopher R. Morse, 21, of 112 North Chatsworth Ave., Larchmont, NY, pleaded not guilty to transportation of alcohol by an underage person. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on April 19.

Dawn M. Gleason, 46, of 1283 Broad Rock Road, pleaded not guilty to domestic assault. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 22.

Guy Royal Newsome, 48, of 245A Stony Fort Road, Exeter, pleaded not guilty to driving with a suspended license. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on April 19.

Ariana Hamner, 20, of 1467 Route 292, Holmes, NY, pleaded not guilty to possession of alcohol by an underage person. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 29.

Crystal Ambia Islam, 20, of 45 Bonner St., Stamford, CT, pleaded not guilty to driving without a license. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 22.
