District Court Log: Aug. 2

The following cases were heard before Judge Madeline Quirk in Fourth Division District Court in Wakefield on Tuesday, Aug. 2.

WAKEFIELD — The following cases were heard Tuesday in Fourth Division District Court:

  • Christopher L. Smith, 30, of 45 Beech Road, was dismissed of a charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license on July 24 in Narragansett upon payment to the court.
  • Nicholas A. Morvan, 18, of 30 Old Pine Road, pleaded not guilty to counts of of possessing marijuana and driving while knowingly having alcohol in the vehicle on July 24 in Narragansett. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance and pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Aug. 23. 
  • Steven Miller, 25, of 75 Miller Road in Hudson, NY, pleaded not guilty to counts of of engaging in a fight and injuring the property of another on July 24 in Narragansett. He was released on $1,000 bail and pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Aug. 23.
  • John A. Jackson, 42, of 1111 Point Judith Road, pleaded no contest to a charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license on July 26 in Narragansett. He was fined $467.
  • Adam R. Harvey, 20, of 290 Church St. Apt. 6 in South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a charge of engaging in tumultuous behavior on July 25 in Narragansett. He was fined $93.50 and ordered to complete 10 hours of community service.
  • Dustin W Carruba, 23, of 37 Glendale Ave. in Warwick, pleaded no contest to a charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license on July 25 in Narragansett. He was fined $639.50.
  • Joseph Ciampa, 26, of 821 Boston Post in Sudbury, Massachusetts, pleaded not guilty to counts of assault, injuring the property of another, and engaging in a fight on July 24 in Narragansett. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance and a pre-trail conference has been set for Aug. 23.
  • Matthew Dimanno, 26, of 66 Willis Lake Drive in Sudbury, Mass., pleaded not guilty to counts of engaging in a fight, assault and injuring the property of another on July 24 in Narragansett. He was released on a $1,000 bail, and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Aug. 23.
