A look at some recent court decisions, and a look at the upcoming Superior Court schedule.

Unless otherwise noted, information about the following cases was supplied by files at Fourth Division District Court or Washington County Superior Court at the .
- Corey B. Brown, 23, of 113 South Winds Drive, South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content greater than .15. He was sentenced to a three month loss of license, ordered to pay $500, to complete 20 hours of community service, to attend DWI school, and to pay assessments and court costs. South Kingstown police agreed to dismiss charges against Brown pending in the state Traffic Tribunal.
- Steven Kilgore, 30, of 17 Hendricks St., South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay a $350 fine and court costs.
- A charge of transportation of alcohol by an underage person against Gerrick G. Van Deusen, 20, of 75 Scituate Farms Drive, Cranston, was dismissed.
- Travis A. Johnson, 21, of 2 Tockwotton Cove Road, Charlestown, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to one year of probation, ordered to pay $100 to the Victims of Crime Indemnity Fund and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service. A secondary charge of driving while in possession of a controlled substance against Johnson was dismissed.
- Vincent A. Nicoletti, 20, of 27 Tuscarora Drive, Oakland, NJ, pleaded no contest to procurement of alcohol for an underage person. He was ordered to pay a $350 fine plus court costs.
- Patrick J. Cadden, 20, of 26 Michael Drive, Burlington, MA, pleaded no contest to procurement of alcohol for an underage person. He was ordered to pay a $350 fine plus court costs.
- John Howard Swanson, 45, of 49 Orchard Ave., South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. A sentencing was suspended until July 5.
- A charge of filing a false police report and obstructing an officer in execution of duty by Narragansett Police against Peter Forbes Cullen, 22, of 4 Homestead Ave., Narragansett, was dismissed.
- Steven M. Jedson, 44, of 238 Table Rock Road, South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to reckless operation of a vehicle. He was sentenced to pay $500 to the Victims of Crime Indemnity Fund, to complete 50 hours of community service and to pay court costs.
- A charge of driving under the influence, BAC unknown, against Bambi G. Hall, 53, of 114 Columbia Heights Apt. A, Charlestown, was dismissed.
- A charge of transportation of alcohol by an underage person against Paul M. Muller, 20, of 62 Fruit St., Norfolk, MA, was dismissed.
- Richard Johnson, 20, of 136 North Road, South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. The charge was dismissed with costs only and Johnson was ordered to have no further loss of license.
- Gerard C. Danna, 53, of 167 Winter St. Apt. 6, Wakefield, pleaded no contest to driving with an expired license. The charge was dismissed with costs only and Danna was ordered to have no further loss of license.
- Zong Dong Zhu, 34, of 120 Fortin Road, Kingston, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He will be sentenced on June 21.
- Peter Joseph Urso, 51, of 288 Shore Road, Westerly, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. A sentencing was continued until May 17.
- Carl M. Pierson, 18, of 267 Church St., Peace Dale, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct. The charge was filed for one year and Pierson was ordered to complete 15 hours of community service and pay court costs.
- Jessica A. Johnson, 22, of 117 Dam St., South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct. She was ordered to undergo an alcohol abuse evaluation, complete treatment and pay court costs.
- A charge of possession of alcohol by an underage person against Shawn Hopton, 19, of 16 Joe Sweet Road, Glocester, was dismissed.
- Susan E. Hemmalin, 48, of 345 Willard Ave., Wakefield, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence, BAC greater than .15. She was ordered to pay a $500 fine, complete 60 hours of community service, forfeit her license for three months, complete DUI school, and to pay assessments and court costs.
- A charge of possession of alcohol by an underage person against Cadence M. Beauregard, 19, of 82 Rocky Hill Road, Rehoboth, MA, was dismissed.
- Patrick L. Ferguson, 18, of 984 Providence St., pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. A sentencing was continued until June 14.
