District Court Logs: Feb. 2

Several defendants went before the judge in Fourth Division District Court today.

Several defendants went before Judge Mary E. McCaffrey in district court today:

Alexander J. Babcock, 20, of 290 Willard Ave., Wakefield, pleaded no contest to reckless driving. He was sentenced to a 30-day suspension of his license, to pay a $500 fine, court costs and the charge was filed for one year.

Cameron D. Cartier, 21, of 20 Meadowbrook Way Apt. 2, Wakefield, pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on Feb. 23.

Susan E. Hemmalin, 48, of 345 Willard Ave., Wakefield, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence, BAC greater than .15. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 1.

Patricia A. Crowe, 50, of 1080 Broad Rock Road, South Kingstown, pleaded innocent to two counts of shoplifting. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending on Feb. 16.

Bryan H. Sawyer, 43, of 124 Grande Brook Circle Apt. 1716, South Kingstown pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He was sentenced to 1 year probation, have no further loss of license and pay a $500 fine and court costs.
