East Providence Police Charge Man Wanted In South Kingstown
Police searched Presna and said they found about one ounce of heroin, a little under $2,800, a digital scale and plastic sandwich baggies.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Police arrested a man wanted on drug distribution charges in South Kingstown September 11 after he tried resisting arrest at a motor vehicle stop at Roger Williams Avenue in East Providence.
Roberto Presna, 36 of Providence was charged last week with heroine possession with intent to distribute, resiting arrest, and driving with possession of a controlled substance.

Police searched Presna and said they found about one ounce of heroin, a little under $2,800, a digital scale and plastic sandwich baggies.

East Providence Police said Officer Chris Cooney pulled over Presna at Roger Williams Avenue because of traffic violations and the registered owner having an active warrant for his arrest.
Presna resisted his arrest causing a struggle with Officers Cooney and Medeiros police said.
