"A View From the Bridge"

You are invited to the URI Fine Arts Center for "A View From the Bridge".  This is a Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright by Arthur Miller.

The story is set in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, New York,  longshoreman Eddie Carbone and his wife, Beatrice, live with their beautiful young adopted, orphaned niece Catherine.  The arrival of two of Beatrice's relatives, illegal immigrants from war-torn Italy, creates a difficult situation. With the power of Greek tragedy Miller creates a powerful story.
