The show at Ninigret Park will consist of a display of antique motorized fire apparatus and other fire memorabilia. There will be a vehicle extrication demonstration and a Fire Safety Smoke House for children to go through. Smokey Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog are also scheduled to make an appearance during the show.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, cold soda & water and Rhode Island Antique Fire Apparatus Society souvenir t-shirts and hats will be sold during the show to help raise money for the Society.
Anyone interested in joining the Rhode Island Antique Fire Apparatus Society will have the opportunity to do so at the show. NOTE: you do not have to own an antique fire truck to join, just an appreciation for them.
