Avenue Q auditions at Courthouse Center for the Arts

Open Casting Call for Courthouse Center of the Arts production of Avenue Q.

Auditions are scheduled for Jan. 20 at 7-10 p.m. at Courthouse Center for the Arts, 3481 Kingstown Rd., West Kingston and Sat., Jan 21 at RI College, Providence
Courthouse Center of the Arts, 3481 Kingstown Rd., West Kingston, RI.

Actors are asked to prepare both an up-tempo song and a ballad NOT FROM AVENUE Q, and be prepared to sing these songs legit and in puppet character voices. A cold reading from the script is expected. There will not be a dance audition.

Call backs will be held Jan. 25 at the Courthouse Center of the Arts. Performances are Feb. 17-19, 23-26, March 1-4.

An application will need to be filled out a headshot or recent photo is required.

Role # 3 - GARY COLEMAN- Yes, THAT Gary Coleman. He lives on the Avenue, too. He's the superintendent. D3 - Bb5, Belt voice or Alto

Role # 4 - KATE MONSTER- A Kindergarten teaching assistant, a bit older than Princeton.F#3 - F5, Soprano

Role # 5 – LUCY- A vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. F3 - F5, Alto - Belting

Role # 6 - MRS T - Ancient, Kate's boss.

Role # 7 - NICKY - A bit of a slacker, who lives with Rod. B2 - B4, Baritenor

Role # 8 - PRINCETON - A fresh-faced kid just out of college.Bb2 - G4, Baritenor
