Join us in this Community Heart Walk presented by the Narragansett School District Wellness Committee in partnership with the American Heart Association.
The purpose of this event is to encourage families to participate in activities that support a healthy life style as well as support the fight against heart disease which is the number one killer of Americans.
- The Path to Health loop will be marked with signs and brochures will are available in the main office at each Narragansett School as well as the Town Hall, the Library and the Chamber of Commerce.
- Thundermist Health Center will join us to provide free blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screening for people 18 and older.
- The American Heart Association will proved "Life's simple 7", steps to live better.
- You will have the opportunity to learn more about other departments/programs in the town such as the Safe Routes to School Grant, South County Bike Path, summer recreation programs and other community events.
