Concert- URI Student Chamber Ensembles

The URI Chamber Ensembles, including the URI Oboe Band (Jane Murray, faculty coach), URI Flute Ensemble (Susan Thomas, faculty coach), Clarinet Ensemble (Kelli O’Connor, faculty coach), URI Trombone Choir (Gabe Langfur, faculty coach) and the URI Guitar Ensemble (John Dennewitz, faculty coach), will offer a variety of chamber works for small ensembles by composers ranging from Palestrina and Gabrielli to Beethoven and more contemporary composers Graham Powning and Désiré Dondeyne, as well as the premiere of a new work for trombone choir and percussion by URI senior Zach Friedland. Ensemble members can include undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni and even faculty artists.
