Concert: URI Symphonic Wind Ensemble

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble concert will feature all Spiritual Music. The featured work on the concert is ...AND THEY GATHERED ON MOUNT CARMEL by Jesse Ayers. This is a three movement piece using surround sound and spatial effects typical of this award-winning composer’s work. The composer will be in attendance at the final rehearsal and at the concert. Other works on the program are: MOTHER EARTH by David Maslanka, LITURGICAL DANCES by David Holsinger, and ZION by Dan Welcher.
