Just in time for Mother's Day, the Fayerweather Craft Guild just opened for its 45th season, offering a multitude of reasonably priced gifts made by our skilled artisan members. Our historic cottage -- Fayerweather House (1820) -- is a delight to visit, especially in springtime as the gardens approach full bloom.
The non-profit Craft Guild sponsors demonstrations and hands-on workshops in a variety of specialties, from Ukrainian eggs to sea-glass jewelry. They're a great parent-teen activity. New this year are monthly Crafters Circles, casual get-togethers for anyone with an ongoing craft project. For the full calendar of events, visit www.fayerweathercraftguild.com and find us on Facebook.
We're open Tuesday through Saturday, 10-4, and Sundays 10-4 in November and December. Our large parking lot is off Mooresfield Road (RI-138), behind Fayerweather House.
