History of Italian Cinema at Peace Dale Library

Professor Joseph Luzzi, a Westerly native and director of Italian studies at Bard College, will be at the Peace Dale Library to speak about Italian cinema from its inception in 1895, through its major periods and influences. The presentation will include the viewing of clips from some of the best Italian movies, including those in genres such as neorealism, Spaghetti westerns, and Italian comedy.
