Join one of Rhode Island's geocaching experts at the Neighborhood Guild on Saturday, Feb 4th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for an introduction to a hi-tech (sort of) hiking adventure. Geocaching is an outdoor sporting activity in which participants use a GPS to hide and seek containers call "geocaches" or "caches" anywhere in the world. This introductory workshop is open to all ages so bring the family! Easy-to-use GPS units will be provided and you'll learn how to use them as you take a short hike to discover your first "cache". Once you do, you'll be hooked on this fun activity. To register or for more information call the Neighborhood Guild at 789-9301. Fee: $5 per family.
