Comedy Is He Dead? by Mark Twain stars a group of poor artists in France, who stage the death of a friend to drive up the price of his paintings. To make this scheme succeed, the artists hatch hilarious plots involving cross-dressing, a full-scale fake funeral, lovers' deceptions, and much more. The show kicks off the summer 2012 season at the Contemporary Theater Company’s new home in downtown Wakefield.
