Italian Film Series to Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy (1861-2011)

The URI Italian Program celebrates Italian Heritage Month and the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy (1861-2011) with the following films on the subject of the Italian Risorgimento: 

October 24 - Roberto Rossellini’s dramatic film "Viva l’Italia" (1961);

October 26 - Mario Soldati’s film adapation of eponymous Fogazzaro novel, “Piccolo mondo antico” (1941).
