On May 1, at Sunrise, The Ladies of the Rolling Pin, RI's only female Morris Dance troupe, will perform their annual May Day dance outside the Narragansett Towers. All across the world, Morris Dancers celebrate May Day by performing traditional dances complete with delightful tunes, clacking sticks and ringing bells so that their movement may wake the Earth from its winter slumber. If that's not enough to draw you to the beach early, we will be serving a potluck breakfast afterwards!
