This evening is a southern Rhode Island preliminary pageant. The 1st place will be awarded a $100 cash prizes. Miss URI will go on to complete in the Miss Rhode Island Pageant. The winner of the Miss Rhode Island Pageant will go on to compete for the title of Miss America.
