Phi Sigma Sigma will be holding their Battle of the Bands philanthropy Fundraiser on February 24 in the URI Memorial Union Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6 pm. Tickets will be sold for $7 at the door. All profits will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation and the Ali Sacco Heart Fund. The event is sponsored by SumoSkinny.com, and various other businesses in North Kingstown and Wakefield. Bands performing: Sidewinder, Alphadelic, Cougar Skates, Short Handed Goal and HAZE. The show will also feature a special performance by VMA Nominated band, Air Traffic Controller. Come support local RI music and support two great causes!
