Under the supervision of South Kingstown High School Boy’s Varsity Tennis Coach, Andy Carr (PTR), and Alex Chavez (PTR), these one-week camps will focus on fundamentals, match play, fitness, and fun. Each participant will receive 16 hours of instruction (12 hours of Quickstart).
The 6 to 10 age Quickstart will focus on the basic fundamentals to start your child on the right path to a life long sport. The racquets, balls, and courts are all age appropriate to ensure a fun and successful experience. 9 to 14 age camps are for players of all ability levels. The 13 to 18 age camps are designed for the older and more advanced player who has a passion for the sport and a desire to improve his or her level of play.
The High School Girl’s Camps will be focused on conditioning, stroke production and match play to get the girls ready for their upcoming fall tennis season. Each camp will do group and skill based activities, and have play opportunities to work on strategy.
Campers should bring sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, towels, extra shirt, etc. Grab your racquet, head to the courts where we will serve up many weeks of tennis fun.
