The annual Skateboard Contest is open to novices and experienced skateboarders alike. This contest is a showcase for the novices to show off what they may have learned in skateboard camp this summer.
It is also allows for more experienced skateboarders to showcase thier best tricks.
The money that is raised at this event is used to assist the South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department to continue to make subtle improvements to the existing skateboard park.
