Special University Artist Series Concert: Jazz Trio Planet Safety with Special Guests!

This eclectic evening of jazz and the avant-garde will feature a reunion of the renowned Soul Note recording jazz trio Planet Safety with two special guests: 40-year jazz veteran Bob Mover on saxophones and vocals…AND a very special, secret 2011 Grammy award-winning artist on bass and vocals. Planet Safety features Leo Genovese, piano/keyboard; Bob Gullotti, drums and URI faculty artist Dave Zinno, bass. Proceeds benefit the Jazz Studies Scholarship Fund at URI.
