A Brand New Summer Camp brought to you by SK Parks and Recreation!

SPECTACULAR SEWING!

This is going to be a great camp, children will make a pillowcase for their first project.

Details: You will learn the lost art of sewing, and sewing is an art! Imagine after learning to sew the awesome items you will be able to make. This class doesn't just show you how to make a pillowcase, it teaches you about the sewing machine, accurate cutting for patterns, pinning, stiching, pressing and seam-finishing. Each particpant will make a STANDARD size pillowcase, and if time allows, another project!Make a cool pillowcase for your bed!

What Do I Bring? If you have your own sewing machine, or mom's you may bring that to get used to your own machine or you may use one of the machines at camp. That's it, all materials are included in the cost of the camp!

When: 1st session July 26th through July 28th 9:30-11:30am                  

              2nd session Aug. 16th through 18th 9:30-11:30am* a different style pillowcase will be made for the second session!

Where: The Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia St. Wakefield

Ages: Boys and Girls ages 9-13

Price: $80 R  $90 NR

How do I Register? We have several ways you may register for this camp. You may register by phone by calling us at: 789-9301 with a credit card, we accept Visa, M/C and Discover.  You may mail in your registration to the address listed above for the Guild, (if mailing in please remember to include name, address, phone and date of birth along with your check) In person, as always you are welcome to register in person at the Guild.

This promises to be a great camp, and sewing is a life-long skill that will stay with you long after the camp is over!
