The Courthouse Center for the Arts presents the RI premiere of Runaways.
This musical brings together 28 "multi racial, multi ethnic" children who are all exploring the life of a runaway in an inner city. Through songs, monologues and poems the children explore and interpret why they are runaways. The children come from broken families, abuse, or an orphanage. They are seen as victims but also "perpertrators" who show a range of emotions. Teens from in and around RI are in the cast.
