The Prout School Presents Innovative Theatrical and Dance Performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth

The Theatre program presents Macbeth by William Shakespeare

The performance will be presented by students, alumni, faculty and administration, as well as guest artists.

Movement and dance have been added to Macbeth to enhance the characters in the play. While actors are being used, dance and movement are interwoven to create a multi-dimensional take on this Shakespeare classic. Guest dancers include professionals Nicholas Real, Shane Farrell, Christine Sandorfi and Elizabeth Stackhouse.

The dance/movement will be performed in such styles as; ballroom, ariel ballet, contemporary and ballet styles to entice the audience-- adding ambience and mystique to this production. 

The performance is an innovative, inter-curricular collaboration between the English teachers and the Theatre Department.
