Wild Bill Simas, who has kept them laughing at the Rhode Island Comedy Factory, Comedy Connection, Foxwoods and Catch a Rising Star, hosts the first “Under the Tent” comedy night on Saturday, November 19 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wild Bill and his comedy express will perform in an oversized heated tent next door to the Mews Tavern. This night of laughs and live auction will be the kick off to the Mews Tavern 5K Beer and Gear Road Race on Sunday, November 20.
Following the event an auction will also take place with many big ticket items such as a Woodchuck Brewery Package (accommodations, gift card to a local restaurant and a brewery tour), Southwest Airline Tickets and trip, a year’s worth of massages from Faces by Gia, a Becoming Italian Today Dinner for Four at RI Kitchen and Bath and more.
Tickets are $20 per person and are on sale online at www.mewstavern.com in the “camp store” and in person at the Mews Tavern in Wakefield. All proceeds to benefit Easter Seals Rhode Island.
