Alumni of the University of Rhode Island’s Department of Music will offer a special ensemble concert. This event will be under the direction of Brian Cardany, URI’s Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Athletic Bands.
The concert program will feature wind band works including Overture for Band (Felix Mendelssohn, adapted by Greissle), Colonial Song (Percy Grainger), Suite of Old American Dances (Robert Russell Bennett), and Variants on a Mediaeval Tune (Norman Dello Joio).
