This walk is in memory Of Sheryl Skerry who passed away in June 2011, a Cotuit resident who had, but was unaware of the symptoms of ovarian cancer until she had only 5 weeks left to live. Her daughter, Diane Riche founded the Ribbons To Remember Foundation to educate and raise awareness of the “silent” ovarian cancer symptoms in hopes of preventing any other women and their loved ones from enduring the pain and heartbreak that is ovarian cancer.
