EVENT OF THE DAY: URI Botanical Garden Tours
The URI botanical gardens will be offering tours every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer.
The University of Rhode Island botanical gardens is offering tours led by Head Gardener, Gabrielle Torphy and Professor of Horticulture Dr. Brian Maynard Tuesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. all summer long.
The tours are open to all and there is a $5 suggested donation. Children under 14 are free.
Tours will begin at the Outreach Center Gazebo, 3 East Alumni Ave, Kingston, across from the Fine Arts building.
