Find some summer reads at Library Book Sale

Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett is the place to stock up on summer reading, June 8-10.

It's time to stock up on books for the beach or your own bookshelves. The Friends of the Narragansett Library will hold their Annual Book Sale, with books for all ages, June 8 to 10 at the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library. Stop in to browse the collection, from hardcovers and paperbacks, to coffee table books, music and movie selections, all at bargain prices.

The book sale opens with a Preview Night for Friends of the Library, Thursday, June 8, 5-8 p.m. New members are welcome to join the Friends for a small fee at the library's circulation desk. The sale continues for the general public Friday, June 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, June 10, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the library and help fund programs. The Maury Loontjens Memorial Library is at 35 Kingstown Rd., Narragansett, RI. For information, call the library at 401-789-9507.
