Five Events Happening For Seniors This Week
Feel like brushing up on your swing dancing skills? Or trying out your green thumb? Read below to find out how to get involved in the Senior Center!

It's summertime and is offering lots of great events for South Kingstown's seniors. For a full calendar listing check out the Center's calendar.
Summer Soiree -- Its Tuesday night! And its time to dress up for the summer dance! ROMPS (Retired Old Musicians Playing Swing) will be providing the music for the evening. The dance will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m on June 21. The night is sponsored by the South Kingstown Parks & Recreation and the Center. Tickets are $4 and can be purchased at The Center or The guild.
Wedding Memories -- On 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, the Center is hosting a time to remember and talk about wedding memories. Have any wedding pictures, photo albums, and memorabilia you want to share? Bring them on Wednesday.

Current Events -- Come to the Center on Thursdays at 1 p.m. for a interactive discussion on the latest local and international news topics with Paula Guida, a retired History teacher.
Garden Club -- Want to try out your green thumb? Come to the Center on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. to try your hand at gardening. The club is open to everyone regardless of previous experience gardening. Bring your own trowels and garden gloves.

Zumba -- The Center will be offering Zumba on Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Zumba combines high energy Latin music and dance moves provides a great cardio workout. It costs $32 for the 8 week session.
