Former South Kingstown Firefighter Sworn-In As Fire Warden

Kathaleen Mack is well-known within the Union Fire District. She served as a firefighter and district clerk for many years.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Union Fire District of South Kingstown Board of Wardens has a new member.

Kathaleen Mack was sworn in Tuesday as a board member, a spokesperson for the Union Fire District of South Kingstown said in a statement Thursday.

Mack replaces Warden Anthony Ciccone, who died unexpectedly last fall.

Mack is well-known within the Union Fire District. She served as a firefighter and district clerk for many years before retiring from the district.

Fire district officials said Mack is looking forward to serving the district again in her new role.
