Fresh Produce Give-Away!
The Harbor Church gives away over 100 bags of fresh fruit and vegetables!
This past July, the Harbor Church set up tables in the Kingston Pizza parking lot in Peace Dale and gave away free food! "Fresh fruit and vegetables for those in need is not something readily available in our area", says Pastor Keith Mlyniec. Over 100 bags of produce were handed out. The church hopes to help out the community by holding the produce give-away again. The Harbor Church is also hosting a 5K on October 1 where all proceeds will go to South Kingstown's Welcome House as well as The Johnny Cake Center.
