Why Go:
The Kingston Chamber Music Festival at the University of Rhode Island presents some extraordinary musicians who will appear annually for this summers festival. Schedules for each day can be found by visiting http://www.kingstonchambermusic.org/concert_schedule.html. Doors open at 7:15 pm.

Where/When: URI East Farm, 2095 Kingstown Road on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Comedy Night At Firehouse Theater
Where/When: Firehouse Theater, 4 Equality Park Place, Newport every night at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, they host the award-winning comedy improve troupe, The Bit Players.
Why Go: Come enjoy some comedy at the theater! Laugh a little bit and have a good time with a different comedy shows each night.

Where/When: Hale House, 2625a Comd Oliver Hazard Perry Hwy, weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Renowned American author Edward Everett Hale (1822-1900) and his extended family of artists and authors summered here for almost forty years at the turn of the last century, in the heyday of the Matunuck arts colony. It was gifted to Pettaquamscutt Historical Society in 2006, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Now restored, the “Red House,” overlooking Wash Pond in the Matunuck Hills, is a center that celebrates the humanities and continues a legacy of artistic and literary enlightenment by engaging, enriching and inspiring community.
