Here's a quick look at what's going on around South Kingstown this weekend:

1. Come out and show your team spirit as the Boys' Varsity team takes on Bishop Hendricken High School at this home game on Friday, February 11at 7:00pm.

2. the South Kingstown High School is hosting several production of  "Fiddler on the Roof".  This play tells the story of a poor dairyman, who tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his Jewish community.  This play has touched audiences around the world for years.  It has humor, warmth and honesty.   Its theme of tradition crosses the barriers of race, class, nationality and religion. February 11, 2011 / February 12, 2011 at 7:00pm

3. "The Rhody Market Show" Stand-Up Comedy at URI on Friday February 11 at 7:45pm.  You are invited to join us every Friday night inside Hope Commons at 7:00p.m. for "The Rhody Market Show".   You'll see stand-up comedians from all over New England. These events are hosted by student Ben Keefe, "The Rhody Market Show" is URI's only regular comedy show.

4. Paint the Town Pink - A Benefit for Breast Cancer Research at  the South County Commons. You will enjoy Music provided by "Milkbread", Refreshments and Dancing.  Pink Flamingos will be available for a mere $20.  Purchase a Flamingo and show your support for breast cancer survivors, and the ongoing research to stamp out the disease. Each business will have their pink boas and will be giving out free refreshments during business hours.
