Getting Cool In The Pool!

Temperatures got into the high 80s this past week and the  opened just in time for the heat wave! It looks like it's going to be warm for a while yet! 

In it's third year open to the public during the hot summer months, pool supervisor Bruce Calvert said that in a week or so there will be at least 30 to 40 people in the pool during it's peak hours. 

"A lot of people are still hearing about it since it only opened for the year on Tuesday," Calvert said. "We have a lot of regulars that come all the time, all summer long."

The pool always has several certified lifeguards on duty whenever the pool is open. The pool is for residents only and to get in, a valid ID is required. 

Since the pool recently opened for the summer, we decided to head down to take a few pictures of the kids having fun in the water. Kids were laughing while splashing around and jumping off the side into the pool.

Pool Schedule - Monday through Saturday

Open Swim 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Adult Swim 2:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m.

Open Swim 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
