South County Girl Scouts Celebrate World Thinking Day
Girl Scout troops from all over South County came together to celebrate World Thinking Day.
Troops selected a country, they wanted to learn about and staged a presentation to the other troops. They also had the opportunity to sample foods, crafts and games from that country.
In World Thinking Day, scouts participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries. World Thinking Day not only gives girls a chance to celebrate international friendships, it is also a reminder that Girl Scouts of the USA is part of a global community—one of nearly 150 countries—with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
