God Is The 'Glue' For Our 'Brokenness'...

     There is an 'art-form', hailing from Japan, which, is known as Kintsugi. Several hundred years ago, this medium was introduced by a Japanese artist, who decided to make something beautiful from something 'broken'; Rather, than to, simply, 'repair' a piece of porcelain or china, that had met it's 'doom', this, artist thought to give these, pieces 'new-life' by using golden-resin to fuse the fragments back together, ergo, creating an altogether, new, piece, each having intricate-veins of gold throughout. When we become 'shattered'... in our hearts, minds and souls, from the difficulties that life hands us, we, too, must 'mend'. As we are not inanimate-objects, we are responsible for trying to 'put ourselves back-together';yet, not unlike the 'chipped' china and porcelain-ware, pieced together by Japanese artists, we, too, have an 'Artist' to help us in our 'healing', whose name is Jesus. He is here to assist and nurture us back to 'wholeness', if we allow for Him to... to 'soften' the sharp and jagged edges, from 'life', which, hurt us and, consequently, cause pain to others in our lives; For, when we are 'broken' we tend to behave in ways which are harmful to, not only ourselves, but, those around us. Our Lord doesn't use gold-resin to aid us in our healing-process...nope, He used His blood, instead, by dying on the Cross. And, though the 'scars', from our healed-'wounds' are not 'fused' by gold, we are MORE valuable than ANY precious-metal; for, we are PRECIOUS to Him...He, who is, ALWAYS, present in our lives to help us to, not only, 'pick-up' the 'pieces' when we fall-apart, but, to make us 'WHOLE', again, as well. Just Sayin'...
