Mere moments, after tethering my pooch to her outdoor run, and, coming indoors, to indulge in my first of many cups of 'joe', this, AM, upon sitting in my favorite -seat, with a view out my front-window, I noticed some movement in the tall-greenery surrounding my property. Upon closer inspection, I discovered this to be from a Mama Doe and her, single, still-spotted, 'yearling' who were scouting -out some breakfast. I know that deer are about, as I, often, see 'telltale' signs of them; yet, it has been awhile since I've seen any meandering about. I know that I'm a real-'softie', and, things of beauty can bring a 'tear to my eye', with this morning's sighting no exception; for after watching them for a few, minutes, my eyes welled-up. Regardless, this occurrence was 'momentous', and, when I saw the deer, parent and child, together on my homestead, it was a bit, overwhelming, for it conjured-up my memory of my 'visit' from my father. So far...it's been an 'eventful' day, and, one, terrific-start to my week; for, I have been reminded, by the Universe, through these, two, 'extraordinary'-experiences,that, 'the, very, BEST things in life are free'. Just Sayin'...
